Of course, I can’t give away the whole first page, BUT, I can show you the first two paragraphs of chapter one. The first chapter is such a pivotal event to Heva’s life—the building of things that have gone on for too long, finally causing a path toward the shift to appear.
Honeywine Forest is a Novella, somewhere between speculative fiction and urban fantasy. We follow Heva as she seeks out a way to regain the life she lost. She spends days in the woods searching for faeries to barter with only to realize she may not be deserving of their help.

Feedback has been overall positive for chapter one, so I hope you enjoyed this little peek into the story. I do have small changes to make, but they don'timpact how this reads. Next post will be messaging and themes followed by a character sheet. I’m crossing my fingers for a release date announcement by end of June.
